My Top Picks: Winter Coats 2021

Image
In the UK, we've very quickly transitioned from more mild autumn temperatures to about 0 degrees celcius in the space of a week, meaning it's about time for my annual coat purchase! This year I'm all about the maxi coats, possibly because I actually don't own a single one, but also because I'm all for covering every inch of skin for maximum warmth (no one wants to be around me when I'm cold, it's not pretty!) So, here is a round up of 6 of my top picks from this years coat hunt... ZARA *From left to right 1. Oversize Coat - Special Edition - £79.99 2. Wool Blend Fitted Coat - £129.00 3. Faux Shearling Coat - £79.99 For top quality, smart coats, I find you can't really go wrong with Zara. I absolutely love the sophisticated fit of number 2, perfect for work but I'd be grabbing this if I had a trip to Paris booked (in my dreams). I have to say, I'm also a sucker for a teddy coat, I find the texture of these adds so much to an outfit and makes you...

Shop of the Season: ZARA

Image
If there's one shop that's killing it right now, it's ZARA  (although when are they not?). Now that the shops have opened up, we don't even have to use their dreaded website! So, in today's post, I wanted to share some of the pieces in their current collection which have caught my eye. Dresses Throughout the warmer months, you can never go wrong with a little white dress, they go with absolutely everything. I think these two stood out to me the most because of how floaty and feminine they are. Linen Blend Dress with Cutwork Embroidery - £29.99 Embroidered Dress - £29.99 Shoes Everyone needs a staple pair of slip on sandals throughout spring and summer, but how nice are these rope effect ones!? I'm also a bit addicted to converse at the moment so when I saw these high-tops I had to include them. Flat Sandals with Knots - £45.99 High-Top Trainers - £29.99 Jeans Sixteen year old Pagz is DYING at the sight of these, I honestly can't believe how things we can be...

Autumn Wish List

Image
Today I've woken up to such a crisp, sunny Autumn morning (my favourite kind of morning) which has given me the inspiration I was lacking for my colder weather wardrobe. Although the changing seasons is fun and exciting, sometimes it takes me a little while to get into the swing of things and get ideas of what to wear. Anyway, I'll now quit rambling now and show you some of the pieces that are on my wish list! Outerwear It will come as no shock that I'm gravitating towards the neutral colour palette this Autumn/Winter. Sometimes I think we neglect out outerwear wardrobe, when in reality it's so bloody cold in the UK that often they define our entire outfit! Monthly Make-up Must Haves: August

Image
I am back with yet another monthly favourites, which can only mean one thing - another 4 weeks has gone by in what feels like the blink of an eye! I visited my family home in the midlands earlier this month which gave me the chance to dig through some of my make-up collection and try some new bits which was rather exciting (to me anyway). So, without further ado, here are my top 5 make-up must haves for the month of August... 1. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Mini Champagne Pop - £16 This BECCA highlighter is one of those products you hear the world, his wife and her dog shout about, but until this month I had never tried it. My mum is one of those amazing people who keeps every single mini, tester or sample, so when I went home, I had the pleasure of sorting through her box of treasure, and I found this! I was not disappointed, this gives the most gorgeous, sun kissed glow to your cheeks and leaves you looking really healthy. I can tell this mini is going to last me ages as well...
